Age of Conan(Hyborian Adventures)
I've been geared up for this game since I read about it a few years back. Being a big Conan fan since I started reading the paperbacks in study hall in the 9th grade, I can honestly say that it appears that the producers of the game are totally into making the world of Conan come alive. Visit the site and watch the movie clips they've got there at www.ageofconan.com . It looks to be an awesome game. It's supposed to be out in 06' sometime. Also if there are any Conan fans out there post some of your favorite books and memories from the stories you've read as well. Hopefully most know that if it wasn't for Robert E Howard creating Conan, the whole Sword and Sorcery genre of books and games wouldn't be near what it is today.

This game does look sweet. I'll bet it will take a super gaming rig to fully enjoy the graphics.
I also have a feeling it is NOT going to be a free online game either. They were to vague on the pricing structure.

From my understanding of this game you first play the game solo to lvl 20 to acclimate yourself to the game world. After you "BEAT" the solo play version of the game, you progress to the MMORP version where at lvl 20 you enter the "online" part of the game. The game is taking part when Conan is King of Aquilonia. I think you'll even be able to interact with him at times taking on missions for him and such. There are also rumors that there will be MASSIVE PVP war type battles. I'm sure there will be a monthly fee although they haven't said anything about cost at this time for the online play. They are using a new attack based system where your mouse movements directly effect the type of attack you throw at an opponent in PVP and against mobs. Sounds totally wicked. This is supposed to be handled in real time so if you swipe your mouse with a left to right downstroke you could execute an attack cleaving your opponents body from his/her shoulder to the breastbone, unless of course they counter and block the attack. Blood is also a big part of the game as well as a Mature Rating. Conan's world is quite dark and politically incorrect, just the way I like it and they have promised to be uncompromising in this respect which has me totally stoked on this games potential!!!! Let the wenching begin!!!!

I thought I read "dermatologist" lol. Mako's been around for a long time - nice guy.
My uncle, a lesser known Asian Hollywood actor (Dana Lee), works with him a lot. As a side note, when I was younger my uncle wanted to fix me up with a nice girl he knew in LA. I hate blind dates and managed to always be too busy to even meet her .... as it turns out she was Tamalyn Tomita. ("Joy Luck Club", "Karate Kid 2") I'm kicking myself to this very day .... *sigh* absolutely true

Bringing up that woman made me think of Pat Morita(Mr. Miyagi). I'm sure most have heard that he died a few days ago. We toasted him with shots in the Irish Pub that I go to.
